Wedding - Brigid and Carl

My friend is all grown up. She's married now, and traveling through south America with her husband. She's all grown up, and she's happy.

It really was an honour to be there to photograph Brigid and Carl's wedding. I first met Brigid when her family moved to Shepparton while we were in high school. That's over ten years ago now. I loved watching her step out of that car in her gorgeous gown, all grown up, and walk down that aisle to her awaiting husband to be.

Brigid and Carl cleverly utilised one of their photos from my sweetheart session with them on their ceremony booklet.

Their wedding was held at Kilgour Estate, just out of Portarlington. I was lost for words as we winded the car down the hill onto their own private beach. Let me just say that again: private beach. This stretch of sand, framed beautifully by breathtaking cliffs, was paradise. I really could have stayed there all afternoon.

The view!

At the reception, Brigid's father found the most perfect words and gave a beautiful speech. My eyes welled a little from behind my camera.

I can't wait to see Carl and Brigid when they get back from their honeymoon. I'm eager to hear their about their trip, to look at photos, and to share the beginning of this next phase in their life with them.
